Koło - Ceramic studio | Brand Identity
Koło is a creative ceramics studio in Wrocław, offering workshops for couples and groups, as well as drawing and ceramics classes for children. It’s a cozy space where everyone can take some time for themselves, work with clay, and create something unique with their own hands.
SCOPE
Branding / Web Design / Illustration
TYPE
Freelance
CHALLENGE
Koło needed a more recognizable visual identity that reflected its creative atmosphere and personality. The existing logo didn’t capture the character of the brand, and there was no consistent visual style. The studio also needed a website where visitors could easily find information about workshops and classes for children. Another challenge was to rethink the gift vouchers, turning them from simple certificates into thoughtful, meaningful gifts.
APPROACH
I created a visual identity centered around a bird symbolizing freedom, creativity, and individuality. A ceramic jug is hidden within its shape. A warm color palette, custom illustrations, and expressive typography reflect the studio’s personality. For the gift voucher, I wanted to move away from the traditional format. I turned it into a small letter with an illustrated postcard, space for a personal message, and a note from the ceramic artist. This way, the experience of opening the voucher becomes part of the gift itself.
OUTCOME
Koło now has a recognizable and cohesive visual identity that reflects the studio’s unique personality. The gift voucher has become a thoughtfully designed present that creates a special experience even before the workshop begins. The new website brings together information about classes and workshops, extending the studio’s visual identity into the digital space.
